Ways to Serve

We’re all about loving Jesus together and helping others to do the same, so there’s loads of ways you can get involved whatever your giftings are. Check out our various ministries below. Feel free to reach out to any of the ministry leader in to find out more.

Kids & Youth

  • We run a creche during our Sunday morning services. You would be looking after pre school children, giving them snacks, playing with them and caring for them. You would be on a rota to serve for one Sunday each month. To find out more contact Glen.

  • We run a group for Primary aged children during our Sunday morning services. You would be helping them with craft and activities and would be on a rota to serve for one Sunday each month.

    We also have a Friday Night Youth club. You would be helping with fun activities and would be serving each Friday night during term time. To find out more contact Glen.

  • We run a group for teenagers during our Sunday morning services. You would be helping teens to dig into the Bible and facilitating discussions. You would be on a rota to serve for one Sunday each month.

    We have a group for teens as part of our Friday Night Youth programme. You would be helping with fun activities and would be serving each Friday night during term time.

    We also have a Saturday night group for teens that runs once a month.

Sunday Morning Teams

  • We are always on the lookout for great musicians to join our team! You would play for the Sunday morning service and occasionally on a Sunday evening. You would arrive early on a Sunday to practise and would play once or twice a month. To find out more contact Tom.

  • The role of the tech team is to ensure the smooth running of sound and visuals during a Sunday morning service. You would need to arrive at church early for the music practise, and would be serving once a month. To find out more contact Paul.

  • Welcome is really important to us at BRBC. You would be part of the team that welcomes people at the door, helps people to find a seat and which prepares and serves refreshments. You would be serving once a month. To find out more contact Ben R.

Community Ministries

  • We host a fellowship lunch for the older folk in our community. You would be helping to cook the lunch and then serving and chatting to those who come along. This event happens on the last Thursday of each month. To find out more contact Alan.

  • Once a month on a Monday morning, we run a group aimed at anyone who would like some company. You would be helping with refreshments and chatting to those who come along. To find out more contact Lorraine.

  • Our care team looks after those in our church family who need extra support and care. You would be visiting people in their homes, helping with practical jobs and anything that is needed. To find out more contact James.

Men’s & Women’s Ministries

  • Our flourishing women’s ministry has many events, including breakfasts, craft afternoons and regular Bible studies. You would be helping run events and supporting Emma in pastoral care. To find out more contact Emma.

  • Do you have a passion for Men’s Ministry? We hold regular men’s breakfasts but would love to run more events. We’d love your input on what this could look like, and help with the organisational aspects. To find out how you can help, contact James.
