Family Portraits: Beckie Pickering

by Peter Mason
In our homes we cover our walls, fridges and shelves with photos and portraits of our family reminding us of cherished memories and moments in time together. Much like those family portraits, we as a church-family realise the importance of sharing our stories with each other of God’s grace in our lives.
The latest instalment of “Family Portraits” features Beckie Pickering, sharing her story of lament and faith in the midst of heartache and loss. Our recent sermons series on prayer explored the ‘language of lament’: crying out to God in the midst of suffering. Beckie’s story is a real-life experience of lamenting and waiting on God. Take a look!
